What is inside your bedroom? Most kids have books, toys,or posters. But for 14-year-old Xie Zhaoyutong from Zhengzhou, Henan, his room is like a time machine! Every corner of his room is filled with pottery, old coins, and ancient bricks (古砖).The boy has turned his bedroom into a mini museum.

Xie's love for history began when he was only six years old, after he visited the Zhengzhou Museum. Since then, he has spent almost all his pocket money on antiques(古董). He even wears socks with holes just to save money for his collection ! One of his coolest treasures is a pottery stove (陶灶) from the Han dynasty. It was once used as a burial object (陪葬品). He also has a rare spade coin(布币). It could sell for hundreds of yuan, but Xie says the coin is“just average”.

Now, Xie has become a star on social media.He shares videos of his“bedroom museum”, and millions of people have watched them.In the videos, Xie speaks like a wise professor. He can pick up any old item and tell its secret story. “My bed holds my body,” says Xie.“But everything else in this room holds my spirit (灵魂).”
